Jenny and Eric are married! They're wedding absolutely beautiful... we have soooo many images that we're sorting through! Can't wait to finish up the sneak peek and show everyone in a couple days!!! Hutch: 18 Months

This is my dear friend, Elia, and her sweet family... Che has been deployed for nearly a year, and had a (quick) 2 week trip back home. He returned to where he has been stationed only 2 days after our shoot to finish out his final months of deployment. I was so glad that we were able to take these special pictures right after the 4th of July. Love you guys and your beautiful babies!

Kyle and Paige exchanged vows during their beautiful outdoor wedding at The Wellington. The sun was bright, as were the moods of this lovely couple. The details were incredible, of course, thanks to the Two Clever Chicks who brought their amazing gifts to the table! Paige and her mom also had a few projects that they worked on together, such as the unity candles. Everything was so elegant and ful of color! Craig Hutchinson and I had a great time taking in the details and sweet moments of the day, creating still images that they will be able to treasure for a lifetime. Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer... It was truly an honor!

Eric & Jenny: Engaged

Meet Eric and Jenny! We met up in Dallas on a very hot day! Because we went to the Dallas Arboretum, we had to go in the middle of day (hottest and sunniest part!) to be finished by closing at 5 pm... So, although it presented a few challenges, they were up to the task, and were AMAZING!!! This incredible couple is engaged to be married 09-10-11!! I am so excited about their upcoming wedding... if this session is proof of what's to come, then we are in for a treat in September! They are full of laughs, hilarious fun, and creativity. The best thing about them, however, is their obvious love that I was able to witness during our day together. The way Eric looked at Jenny, and how Jenny would return the gaze was so genuine and lovely. Thank you both so much for allowing me to follow you around the Dallas Arboretum and The Ballpark in Arlington to capture some sweet, fun, and romantic moments that you will be able to treasure always. Sweet little Grayson is growing fast, so it was time for some spring portraits of the family! We went out to a field with some wild flowers... and stickers. oops. At least it made for some funny pics! Anyway, Preston and Ashley, thanks so much for allowing me to document your amazing (and beautiful) family as it grows! Scott and Daniele are married!! They had a beautifully romantic wedding in College Station. I was so honored to be part of their amazing day! Daniele is so creative and handmade many of the details for their special day. Her sweet mother also helped by recreating her own veil to incorporate the lace detail of Daniele's dress. So special! This was one of my favorite wedding moments - ever! The band started playing this song, and Scott jumped up on stage to sing to his new wife! Livin' On a Prayer has never been sung with such enthusiasm or had such a wild crowd! Everyone was so into it, screaming, "OOOOOOH! We're half way there, OH-OH! Livin' on a prayer...." Loved every second of it!

James & Madisen Tate: Married! (Part 1)

James and Madisen got married in Cabo, on the beach... Beautiful setting for a beautiful marriage! Jason and I met James and his friends when we first moved to Wichita Falls, over 10 years ago! Can't believe it's been that long. Over the next few years, we would have them all at our house just about every day! Jason was so honored when James and Madisen asked him to marry them... and I was honored when asked to photograph their sweet love. I love these images, because of the people in them and because of James and Madisen and how they love each other so well, striving to honor the Lord in their marriage. Love you both so much. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your lives, you surely have blessed us by being a part of ours. I hope you enjoy looking at your wedding portraits as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

I had the amazing privilege of attending little Grayson's delivery as a photographer... A little different from their other 2 kid's deliveries where I was their nurse! Such a special time in their lives, and I was able to be a fly on the wall and catch all of the little "firsts". Thank you guys so much for allowing me to be part of such an incredible experience. Emily, Cody, and Lucy are some of our best friends! Emily works for Young Life and Cody is a teacher and coach here in town. Their sweet little baby girl, Lucy, just turned one, and tons of family came in town for the party! Emily's parents really wanted to get some family pictures made since everyone would be in the same place at the same time! Jenna Bush at Power of the Purse

This year at Power of Purse, Jenna Bush (Hager) was the guest speaker. I was fortunate enough to be the photographer of the details and some group shots of donors. The Two Clever Chicks were the genius, once again, behind the beautiful and creative decor. Because early childhood education was one of the main focuses of this year's program, The Chicks asked the 1st grade teachers at Ben Franklin Elementary to help their students make paper dolls for the event. They are so precious, and kept everyone's focus on the intended subject: children in our community. Jenna did an amazing job speaking and making everyone feel comfortable and as if they were some of her oldest and dearest friends. Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of this day!
